Singapore Airlines has taken its Premium Economy Class to new heights, unveiling a significant revamp set to enhance the in-flight experience for travelers from 31 March 2024.
This Premium Economy overhaul introduces an expanded selection of gourmet dining options and an exclusive amenity kit, marking a significant upgrade since the class was introduced in 2015.
Passengers will be welcomed with a glass of champagne post-takeoff, followed by the chance to explore a diverse menu from a hardcopy menu card. The dining experience is uplifted with custom-made porcelain serviceware, featuring seasonal appetizers, main courses, desserts, and premium bread options, including croissants for breakfast and garlic bread rolls for other meals.
Noteworthy dishes include Beef Bourguignon, Bak Chor Mee, and Thai-style Crab Curry, complemented by a selection of wines and champagnes curated exclusively for Premium Economy passengers.
On flights exceeding seven hours, passengers will receive a sustainable Out of the Woods amenity kit, containing eco-friendly items such as eyeshades, slippers, and lip balm made from biodegradable material. These amenities underscore Singapore Airlines' commitment to comfort and sustainability.
The enhanced Premium Economy Class also offers priority boarding, a generous baggage allowance, and meticulously designed seats for optimal comfort, featuring a wide seat pitch, built-in calf rests, and foot-bars. An expanded Book the Cook menu allows passengers to pre-order their main course, ensuring a tailored dining experience.
In-flight entertainment is delivered through a 13.3-inch full HD monitor with active noise-canceling headphones, offering access to KrisWorld's extensive selection of on-demand options. Furthermore, KrisFlyer members benefit from unlimited complimentary Wi-Fi, enabling them to stay connected throughout their journey.

I've sat Singapore Airlines Premium Economy a number of times, particularly on a long-haul route to London.
