CIMB has unveiled its 2025 hotel partnership by collaborating with Anantara Vacation Club. This marks the third consecutive year that the CIMB Travel World Elite card offers complimentary stays upon meeting specific spending criteria.
Initially, in 2022, the card provided complimentary stays through a partnership with Marriott Vacation Club, with options limited to Bali Nusa Dua Gardens in Bali and Mai Khao Beach in Phuket.
In 2024, the bank partnered with Wyndham Asia properties, offering complimentary stays at similar locations in Bali and Phuket.
This year, the CIMB Travel World Elite has expanded its horizons by partnering with Anantara Vacation Club, granting cardholders access to stays at three distinguished resorts:
Anantara Vacation Club Mai Khao Phuket
Anantara Vacation Club at Avani+ Khao Lak
Anantara Vacation Club at Riverside Bangkok
To avail of this offer, cardholders must spend a minimum of RM10,000 in the month of stay.
Notably, the bank specifies that the principal cardholder must travel with their spouse or "life partner," with verification measures in place to enforce this condition.
Additionally, both individuals must be between the ages of 28 and 65. These stipulations are consistent with Anantara Vacation Club's standard booking terms, which often require guests to be married couples or life partners within the specified age range, so don't worry, it isn't another one of CIMB's strange policies!

While the CIMB Travel World (which also has access to the promotion) is able to stay at the Anantara Vacation Club at Avani+ Khao Lak and Anantara Vacation Club at Riverside Bangkok, the Anantara Vacation Club Mai Khao Phuket is exclusively for CIMB Travel World Elite cardholders.
